My husband Colby & I began The Turquoise Boutique in Enid, Oklahoma (nicknamed TTB for short) in November 2013 on a whim! I have always loved fashion and trying to be unique and I knew it was where my heart was leading me.
Since 2013, we've been on a rollercoaster ride with this store we love so much. There is never a dull day at TTB and I wouldn't trade it for the world. My favorite part of owning TTB would definitely have to be my customers. I love them so much and absolutely love getting to chat with them daily as they come by the store looking for the perfect outfit or just dropping in to say hi. When you spend so much time with people, they tend to become your family which is why I feel like my customers have become a part of mine.
I have two babies: my new baby boy, Jagger, and my shop dog, Gypsy - who is my mascot. Everyone in Enid knows TTB as "the store with Gypsy the Yorkie." Before you know it, you may see Jagger chasing Gypsy down the sidewalk!
So why The Turquoise Boutique? I've always loved turquoise, it's my favorite color and makes me smile as it's always a comforting and exciting color to me. The feather in our logo is in part of my Indian heritage, which is where I think my style comes from.
One day, I feel sassy in leopard and glitter. The next day, I feel like a "gypsy" in my leather jewelry, distressed jeans and a graphic tee. I think fashion truly brings out the best in people and I am passionate about people "being themselves" on a daily basis.
I don't think you have to match, rock what you want in confiendence. If you shop with us, you'll know exactly what I mean.
A quote I've always lived by was spoken by my mom's grandpa:
"A little powder, a little paint helps to make you what you ain't" That's our motto at TTB!
I'm truly so thankful for you for stopping by!
